Sniffer dogs are called into £35,000-a-year Bryanston School as pupil, 16, is expelled in drugs scandal

One of the country’s most expensive private schools is bringing in sniffer dogs after expelling a 16-year-old over drugs.

Bryanston School, whose former pupils include TV presenter Ben Fogle, actress Emilia Fox and artist Lucian Freud, said it had toughened up its ‘search and confiscation’ policy following the incident.

The unidentified teenager was ‘asked to leave’ the prestigious co-educational boarding school, where parents are charged annual fees of £35,646, soon after starting there a few months ago.
